The deans of Mourada and Jallou Municipalities affirmed the importance of stabilizing security in oil fields and ports and maintaining the continuous flow of oil and gas in all fields during the meeting with NOC Chairman.
NOC Chairman expressed his happiness and welcomed the attendees pointing out that this visit confirms the delegation’s keenness to maintain continuous communication with NOC and intensify the efforts of the Libyans in order to resolve all problems and obstacles.
The deans of Jallou and Marada Municipalities praised the efforts made by the oil and gas sector workers to maintain production rates and to continue work in the oilfields in order to increase production capacity despite the deteriorating conditions in the country, stressing the importance of stability of security in the fields in order to maintain the continued flow of oil and gas in all oil fields.
The participants discussed a number of topics of importance and the problems and difficulties facing some areas adjacent to the oil fields, including scarcity of groundwater, programs and projects of sustainable development and social responsibility.
NOC Chairman stressed the organization’s commitment to implement plans related to spatial development programs, development projects, social and environmental responsibility programs and efforts to help local communities face the problems and challenges faced and pointed out the importance of cooperation to ensure stability in all oil fields to maintain and increase production rates in future.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to communicate and cooperate between the municipalities concerned with NOC to find and solve all the problems and difficulties.
