Al-Feel (elephant) oil field remains closed despite the announcement of the Petroleum Facilities Guard of reaching an agreement with the guards to reopen the field, Reuters reported.
The news agency quoted an engineer working in the field as saying that some of the staff returned to the field on Wednesday in preparation for resuming work, however, the operating process is still pending.
Al-Feel oil field, which produces 70 thousand barrels per day, was closed on February 23 after the withdrawal of the guards, to protest the delay in the payment of their salaries.
