| Moomken organization for media and awareness is a non-profit Libyan organization aiming to promote awareness by implementing different ideas of social entrepreneurship projects through different sets of media tools. Vision Moomken aims to become a platform for creative and active youth in Libya in order to innovate in the field of media and awareness on a civil society level and bring forward creative and inspiring ideas that would add value to the community, through providing an environment that thrives for excellence and distinction. Message To raise awareness about issues that are of interest to the Libyan society, to build bridges between different sectors of society as well as to enable cultural exchange within society and instill values of forgiveness, democracy, respect, and tolerance. Goals 1. The organization works to facilitate the access to information about economic, political and societal issues of relevance to the citizen, through simplified and easy methods. 2. The organization aims to be the forerunner in the field of communicating ideas and concepts in a simplified manner to the public through technology without complications or distractions 3. To develop and innovate in the field of educational material production, which has been the basis of the organization’s work since its establishment, in a manner that brings it closer to the public’s intellectual and emotional realities. 4. Improve the abilities of the organization through implementing technology and relevant up to date software. 5. Train and empower governmental institutions in the field of media, with a special focus on the technological side, and to also enable them to make good use of social media in their work. 6. Working to provide the right work environment of understanding and coordination with other civil society organizations through the exchange of training and coordination. 7. Aims to raise awareness in Libya about concepts of modern media production that the organization utilizes in its work through training youth to master such techniques. 8. Developing the skills of its own members and transform theory to practice through the implementation of the projects.
