Benghazi Reconstruction Committee adopted an amendment to the Emergency Projects Budget in Benghazi for more than one hundred and sixty-three million Libyan Dinars and an amount exceeding 89 million dinars for the municipality.
A spokesman of the Interim Government said that this year the municipality was granted permission to contract through public and private tenders according to the specified period; a supervisory committee is formed to follow-up implementation of projects included in the estimated budget and to transport building waste to Ganfouda and Sidi Khalifa dumps; part of the building waste to be used in paving some places for Benghazi port.
