Jenderal Soedirman Master and Doctoral Scholarships

Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed) with its development-oriented postgraduate study programs promotes education of student from other countries. Well-educated local expertswill play an important role in the sustainable development of their countries. The Jenderal Soedirman Scholarships (SS) offer foreign graduates from other countries from all disciplines to take a postgraduate (Master’s or Doctor’s degree) at Unsoed for academic year 2019.

Who can apply?
Non Indonesia citizen.

Duration of funding
maximum 24 months for Master and up to 36 months for Doctor (dependent on study programme)

Value

• Depending on academic level, monthly allowance of IDR 3.500.000 for master or IDR 4.000.000 for doctoral.
• allowance include : living cost, accommodation, health insurance, and book allowance
• Travel allowance are covered by the home country or another source of funding

Selection

• Candidates fulfil the necessary academic requirements and can be expected to successfully complete a study program in Unsoed
• Candidates have a Bachelor degree (usually a four-year course) in an appropriate subject for Master
• Candidates have a Master degree (usually a four-year course) in an appropriate subject for Doctor
• Candidates can prove their motivation is development-related and be expected to take on social responsibility and initiate and support processes of change in their personal and professional environment after their training/scholarship

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Master Program:

1. Awarded Bachelor degree
2. Minimum GPA is 2,75 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent
3. hand-signed CV
4. Copy of Medical statement
5. academic letter/s of recommendation from your university; the letter must have a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date
6. Proof of language abilities
   – English – IELTS or TOEFL (Note: Institutional TOEFL will not be accepted), TOEFL Minimum 500, TOEFL iBT 80, or IELTS 5.5
7. copies of awarded academic degrees
8. copies of academic transcripts

Doctoral Program :

1. Same point 3 – 7 in master program
2. Awarded Master degree
3. Minimum GPA is 3.00 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent
