The Support to Libya for Economic Integration, Diversification and Sustainable Development (SLEIDSE) programme, a European Union funded programme implemented by Expertise France, and Libya Enterprise, the national business support organization in Libya, open a Boot Camp training for Libyan entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to promote the creativity and innovation of businesses in Libya.
1/ Boot Camp purpose
The purpose of this Boot Camp is not only to provide you with an intensive and complete training on entrepreneurship skills, but also to help you increase your self confidence and personal skills in your everyday life and in a professional context.
This training is 7 days training which will be delivered by experimented trainers and during which several guests from the private sector will be invited to share their experience with you. You will have the chance to ask questions to young and successful startups, but also to listen and learn from entrepreneurs who have failed before to meet with the success, how to access to international markets…
This training is based on a program developed by the World Bank and is implemented by Expertise France in coordination with Libya Enterprise.
2/ Eligibility
This training is open to all project leaders with a business project or having already created a company.
This Boot Camp is free, to be selected you must be Libyan, aged over 18 years and have a valid passport.
3/ Applications and Calendar
To apply, you must fill the application online (scroll down) before the 19 February 2018.
Any other element will not be taken into consideration. .
We will review and evaluate all applications and select 30 applicants.
We will select 50% of male and 50% of female and out of them, 50% of entrepreneurs and 50% of aspiring entrepreneurs.
Only the people who have been selected will be contacted before the 26 October.
Expertise France reserves the right to modify the step of the selection process or postpone or cancel any activity when necessary.
4/ Confidentiality undertaking
The Boot Camp organizers undertake to keep confidential, all information about any business activity described in the application. Only members of Expertise France will know the projects in their integrity. The intellectual, artistic or industrial property rights remain the exclusive property of the candidates.
Only details of candidates will be transmitted to the boot camp partners.
The boot camps might be covered by the Libyan News Agency.
5/ Logistic:
Expertise France will take in charge your travel to Tunisia and your accommodation and meals throughout the duration of the Boot Camp. We will also take in charge the transfers from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the training place.

This program is given as an indication; a more detailed program will be given to the candidates later.
During this one week event, you will work within a team composed of 5 candidates, to refine your ideas, get inspired by real entrepreneurs, get exposed to financial intermediaries and create your business plan.
At the end of the training each candidate will receive a diploma signed by Expertise France and the European Union.
