In the Second Real Estate Registration Conference, the representative of the Presidential Council praised the efforts of the Authority since its establishment to preserve the state’s real estate assets, archives and its effective role in economic development and pointed to the legal violations by some parties on state property.
He stressed that the department should work with the legal and legislative departments in accordance with clear mechanisms and pointed to the importance of the Ministry of Local Government in preservation of state property.
The head of the Supreme Judicial Council said that the real estate registry is one of the most important institutions in the Libyan state as It works in accordance with laws and regulations to preserve public and private property and expressed his confidence that the conference will come out with recommendations in order to carry out the tasks entrusted.
A video was presented showing the date of registration in Libya and the stages performed by the department since its establishment in order to preserve the property of citizens and the state.
