Minister of Transport met the Chairman and members of the Committee for Development of Economic and Social Projects in the Supreme Council and discussed a number of important topics in the transportation sector, mainly the Ministry’s policies, strategies and the budgets allocated to implement the strategies and plans; and what has been executed concerning the contract for implementation of a new passenger terminal at Tripoli International Airport in addition to the problems experienced by Libyan African Aviation Holding Company and its subsidiaries.
The Minister of Transport presented the most important elements related to the policies, strategies and plans of the Ministry in maintaining the functioning of the different types of transport and the vision, strategy and plans of the Ministry for development of the sector and the preparations to start implementation of local and international passenger terminals at Tripoli International Airport by local and Italian companies which will start work within a few weeks and will complete work within a few months.
