The oil tanker, Anwar Al-Khaleej arrived on Tuesday at the Port of Tripoli carrying 34 million liters of gasoline.
The Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee said the oil tanker began to distribute the fuel to trucks waiting to begin their work and end the petrol crisis at petrol stations that have witnessed long queues for more than a week.
The fuel crisis began when truck drivers went on strike because of delays in their payment.
Although the strike was ended, all the assurances of fuel availability failed to convince motorists to avoid congestion in front of petrol stations.
