Libya Technology Company presented the company’s activities for the year 2017 and the estimated budget for 2018 during the general assembly’s meeting held at NOC headquarters headed by NOC Chairman in the presence of members of the General Assembly, Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Company, Member of the Audit Bureau, Directors of departments and specialists of NOC and the Company and the Supervisory Authority.
NOC Chairman praised the efforts of the company’s management and employees to carry out many engineering works despite the exceptional circumstances experienced by the country and the oil sector in particular and said that the company has proved ability to execute many works professionally due to the efficiency and experience of its employees.
The company’s Chairman said that the company is preparing a plan to enter into many activities during the year 2018 if the budget is approved.
The meeting dealt with the Audit Bureau’s observations on 2009 and 2010 budgets and the final accounts for the years 2009-2010 were approved.
The activities of all departments during the year 2017, work completed, technical presentations and studies implemented, work plans and targets as well as company’s debt collection, project budget and proposed budget for 2018 were reviewed.
NOC Chairman stressed the need to settle outstanding debts and follow collection of amounts in favor of the company and said that Libya Technology Company is the engineering arm of the oil sector and the oil companies should give priority to the company and entrust it to carry out the engineering works in all future projects. He also pointed that the company should pay great attention to training and development programs and to communicate with companies operating in Libya to get priority in implementing engineering work.
