Libyan Oil Institute presented its activities for 2017 and work plans for the year 2018 during the annual meeting of the Institute headed by NOC Chairman in the presence of its members, Chairman and members of the Management Committee of the Institute, general managers, directors and specialists of NOC and the Institute.
The Oil Institute is one of the important technical and advisory entities of NOC through submission of studies and researches related to oil and gas and has the experience, efficiency, equipment and advanced scientific laboratories for resuming exploration projects, drilling and manufacturing in 2018.
A technical presentation was demonstrated showing the various activities of the Institute, especially the Office of Earth Science Studies as one of the specialties that were recently developed by the Institute. This new and specialized reservoir study is the first of its kind and is fully managed by national elements. The work accomplished during 2017, proposed budget and development plans for 2018 was also presented .
NOC Chairman expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Institute’s management committee for their work and urged them to maintain continuous communication with the companies in the sector to expand their work.
