NOC Chairman headed the meeting in the presence of NOC members of the Board of Directors, Chairman and members of Mabrouk Oil Operations Company, General managers, directors and specialists of NOC and the company.
During the meeting, 2017 annual activity and the company’s plan for 2018 was reviewed.
NOC Chairman appreciated the efforts of the company’s managers and employees for running the work despite the difficulties and losses of about 40,000 barrels per day from Mabrouk field and noted the need to develop environmental programs related to oil operations.
Chairman of Mabrouk Company praised NOC support and explained the challenges faced due to the delay in implementation of financial procedures which was reflected on implementation and development of productive projects and caused unjustified financial losses of the national economy.
The implemented projects for replacement of the flexible line from the marine platform to the port was reviewed. The financial activity, approved budget for 2017 and proposed targets for 2018 as well as implemented and suspended development projects for increasing production and the plans for resuming production in Mabrouk field were reviewed.
NOC Chairman and members of the Board of Directors praised the great role and efforts exerted by Mabrouk Company and emphasized the necessity of cooperation between the various companies in the sector to give priority to the executed projects and hopes that the year 2018 will be better than 2017.
