Al-Waha Oil Company has succeeded in increasing its production by 40,000 barrels since October 2022, using for the first time the latest Geosphere 3D and Long Reach drilling technologies in the Al-Daffah field by drilling the B220H horizontal well and drilling a horizontal section exceeding two thousand feet, according to the National Oil Corporation (NOC).
The NOC explained that the well test results exceeded 3,000 barrels, and it is expected to install a submersible pump and a VSD production regulator in the next two days to significantly increase the well’s production.
Al-Waha Company’s technical teams were also able to complete and test the 6K5 development well in the Jallo field, at a depth of about 11,000 feet, whose production reached 4,000 barrels per day and two million cubic feet of natural gas, and it was actually put on the production line in record time.
