IVECO to resume work in Libya.

The Board of Directors of the Truck and Bus Company has signed an agreement with the Regional Director of the Italian company IVECO in North Africa and the Middle East at the company’s headquarters in the Tajoura to restore the company’s activity and begin supplying and starting work as soon as possible.

This came after a meeting attended by the Minister of Industry and Minerals of the Government of National Unity, Ahmed Abu Hisa, which discussed ways of cooperation and the return of IVECO’s work production and overcoming the difficulties it faced during previous periods, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Industry.

The meeting concluded by agreeing on a comprehensive feasibility study to determine the capabilities and opportunities available to operate the factory at full capacity. This contributes to creating new job opportunities and strengthening the local economy.

In turn, Abu Hisa stressed his full support for the Italian company’s return to production and providing all facilities and guarantees for this.
