Dbeibah calls for access of Libyan private companies into oil and gas sector.

During his meeting with the Acting Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdel-Sadiq, Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbeibah has urged not to monopolize oil and gas by foreign companies, calling for access of the Libyan private sector into the oil sector according to their potentials and qualifications.

Dbeibah called for the necessity of inviting companies that manufacture spare parts used in the field of oil and its various equipment to partner with the Libyan private sector through the Misrata Free Zone and provide appropriate conditions for that.

The Acting Minister briefed Dbeibah on the development and investment projects approved within the sector plan with the aim of increasing production and activating international partnerships.
