Libyan ports’ projects have created over 19.000 job opportunities.

The Government of National Unity said that it worked to complete a number of projects in ports and harbors, providing about 19,000 job opportunities and producing about 16,000 tons of fish annually.

The government added in a statement on Friday that it was completing the work along the Libyan coast, and the Ministry of Marine Wealth was seeking to complete them as part of the projects to restore normal living conditions that the government announced earlier.
According to the statement, the Tripoli Fishing Port was on the list of the largest and most effective ports in terms of its efficiency, providing 10,000 job opportunities and producing 4,000 tons of fish annually.

As for the Dilah fishing port in Al-Zawiya, it provided a thousand job opportunities and produced 3,700 tons of fish annually, the Sorman fishing port provided 500 job opportunities and produced 750 tons of fish annually, and the Sabratha fishing port produced 750 tons of fish annually and provided 500 job opportunities.

The port of Garabulli provided 950 job opportunities and produced 2,500 tons of fish annually, and the Zuraiq fishing port in Misrata provided 950 job opportunities and produced 2,500 tons of fish annually.

The Suissa fishing port provided 950 job opportunities and produced 2,500 tons of fish annually, and finally, Zuwara fishing port provided 4,000 job opportunities.
