Libya Food Fair opens with participation of 215 local and foreign companies.

The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Huweij inaugurated the opening of the Libya Food Fair in its fifth edition, whose activities will continue from 28 to 31 January at the Tripoli International Fair.

The exhibition is organized by the International Company for Exhibitions and Conferences, with the participation of 100 local companies and 115 foreign companies specialized in the food and plastic industries, manufacturing machinery and equipment, packaging technology, and the preparation of restaurants and cafes from the countries of Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey, India, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Morocco, Malta, France, and Jordan, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Economy.
Al-Huweij toured the exhibition, accompanied by the heads of the management committee of the General Authority for Exhibitions, the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the management committee of the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the Board of Directors of the Joint Libyan-Egyptian Chamber, and a number of heads of diplomatic missions in Libya.
