Mellitah Oil and Gas set to boost production to over 200,000 barrels daily, NOC predicts.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) anticipates an increase in Mellitah Oil and Gas Company’s daily crude oil production, expected to surpass 200,000 barrels.

This forecast was revealed during the company’s annual meeting, presided over by the Corporation’s Chairman, Farhat Bengdara.
The plan involves increasing current production by 30,000 barrels, exceeding the current level of approximately 186,000 barrels per day.

Bengdara lauded the company’s achievements in connecting several oil and gas wells in the Al Wafa field and maintaining other wells to boost production levels.

The meeting grouped board members, the management committee, department heads of Mellitah Oil and Gas, and the head of the Monitoring Authority.”
