The meetings of the General Assembly of the National Oil Corporation and its companies for the year 2023 began on Tuesday morning in the city of Benghazi, and the beginning was with the meeting of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company .
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation – President of the General Assembly, Farhat Bin Qaddara, and members of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, in the presence of the Chairman and members of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company’s Management Committee, the general managers and directors of departments from both sides, and the Chairman and members of the Control Board .
In his opening speech, Bin Qaddara stressed that the Corporation’s Board of Directors is paying great attention during this period to the stability of production and reaching its target, in addition to the interest in providing a safe and suitable work environment for workers and focusing on preserving the environment and surroundings from pollution in and around the Corporation’s operations areas .
He also praised the efforts of the Chairman and members of the company’s management committee and all its employees in various oil sites for dealing well with the difficult circumstances facing the company and continuing production .
He called on the company to work to solve its financial problems, pay attention to completing measurement systems projects, and work to conduct the annual Umrah of the Sarir refinery in the year 2024 .
