Spain’s Repsol to begin exploratory drilling in Murzuq Basin next April

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has confirmed the return of the Spanish company Repsol to begin exploratory drilling activity in the contract area in the Murzuq Basin in early April 2024.

This came during a meeting held at the NOC HQ in Tripoli, in the presence of exploration managers from both sides, in addition to a number of specialists, to discuss Repsol’s exploration activity for the year 2023 and the projects expected to be implemented in the year 2024, according to the NOC.
