In continuation of the joint annual technical meetings between the National Oil Corporation and the participating foreign companies, the Corporation’s Exploration Department held, this Monday morning, at the Corporation’s headquarters in Tripoli, a corresponding technical meeting with officials of the Russian “Tatneft” company .
During the meeting, the company’s exploratory activity during the year 2023 and the proposed technical work for the year 2024 were discussed, with regard to seismic survey programs, exploratory drilling, and geological and geophysical studies. The “Tatneft” company also reviewed its final report on its program to develop the wells discovered in the plot granted to it in Libya (82/ 4) In the Ghadames Basin .
The meeting was attended on behalf of the corporation by the Director of the Exploration Department, Abdel Moneim Batikh, and a number of specialists and technicians in the Exploration Department. On behalf of the Russian company “Tatneft,” the director of the company’s Libya branch, Timur Velezov, the Director of Exploration, Arturtavot, and a number of specialists in the relevant departments, and through the closed circle a number of the company’s specialists were present .
