The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, discussed on Tuesday with the US ambassador and envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, aspects of joint cooperation with the American institutions concerned with the technical support programs development of the Central Bank.
During the meeting, which was held in Tunis in the presence of the United States Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara A. Leaf, Al Kabir reviewed the CBL’s efforts to develop disclosure and transparency during cooperation between the two countries.
Last Friday, Al-Kabir reviewed with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) the development of the partnership between the two sides within the technical support program, which was launched in September 2021.
