More than 1.7 million students resume classes after the mid-term break.

The educational institutions of the Ministry of Education resumed on Sunday, the second semester of the current academic year, where more than 1.7 million students went to study in about 4,700 schools distributed throughout the country, after the end of the mid-year vacation.

The ministry confirmed the disbursement of operating budgets to the education supervisors in the municipalities, in order to carry out urgent maintenance and to provide some supplies such as stationery and the like.

We are seeking to establish about 1,500 schools in various regions of Libya to be implemented within three years, at a rate of 500 schools annually, starting this year, the Ministry added.
