The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Sadiq Al-Kabir, discussed on Thursday, the repercussions of the war between Russia and Ukraine on the international economic situation, its effects on the Libyan economy, and the prices of goods and food in the international market.
This came on the sidelines of his participation in the Atlantic Council meeting, during which he also discussed the developments of the political, economic and financial situation in Libya.
The meeting reviewed ways to move the wheel of the Libyan economy and the return of foreign companies to the country, as well as the efforts of the CBL to ensure financial and monetary stability, and the plan to unify the bank.
