Italian oil giant, Eni, resumed pumping gas from Libya to Italy through Green Stream pipeline after two-week maintenance work at sea had ended.

Eni said the resumption of gas flow came before the deadline as repairing work ended sooner than planned inside Mellita Oil and Gas Complex, adding that the resumption started gradually since February 17.

Eni said at the beginning of February gas flow would drop remarkably and would reach a zero point on February 05, with a possible return on February 19, but it managed to restore the flow of gas two days earlier.
