The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Hawij, inaugurated on Saturday the Innovation Center for Electronic and Financial Services.
This came in the presence of the Director General of the Economic and Social Development Council, representatives of commercial banks, a number of diplomatic missions to Libya, and a group of businessmen and investors.
The minister stressed that digital transformation and keeping pace with information development is the basis for establishing the modern state and eliminating administrative and financial corruption, according to the ministry official Facebook page.
The Innovation Center includes a center for personalization and coding services for bank cards, a database and information center, and a rehabilitation and training center in partnership with a number of local and international companies.
